Join us for our next Dragonfly Expeditionary Club event: the premiere of Charles J. Kropke’s latest documentary film, Hidden New York.
This film explores the origins of Manhattan, and the Battery Park region of this great metropolis. It is part one of a series on the historic neighborhoods of New York City, and is expected to air in New York in the fall.
This is yet another episode in the film-making endeavors of Tropic Moon Media, sister company to Dragonfly Expeditions. Those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the legendary South Florida entrepreneur, Eleanor Goldstein, a partner in Tropic Moon Media.
Previous Tropic Moon Media films have included Miami Beach: 100 Years of Making Waves, in celebration of the city’s 100th anniversary, as well as the Emmy-Award winning program Unseen Everglades: A Legendary Wilderness. The company also developed the six-part national PBS series entitled, Battleground Everglades.
Refreshments start at 7:00pm, and the film will air at 7:30pm. The movie runs for just under an hour, and wlll be followed by a 30 minute question and answer session. Please make sure to RSVP through EventBrite.
